Quantum software company Classiq and Toshiba Digital Solutions are collaborating to advance gate-based quantum computing. The two companies will also work to promote use case research and platform software development within several industries.

“We're excited to collaborate with Toshiba Digital Solutions, a global technology leader," said Classiq CEO Nir Minerbi.

"Classiq's state-of-the-art quantum software platform combined with Toshiba Digital Solution's deep AI, IT knowledge and advanced technological expertise will be leveraged to explore and architect sophisticated quantum algorithms enabling an industrial Quantum Transformation."

Under the partnership agreement, Toshiba will use the Classiq platform when conducting technical assessments related to quantum AI. Toshiba's circuit designers intend to use Classiq's gate-based quantum computing software platform to create, analyze and execute quantum circuits.

Once Toshiba completes these assessments, the company will explore various use cases that gate-based quantum computing can address. These use cases span a range of industries, including energy and smart manufacturing.

Toshiba and Classiq intend to harness the power of gate-based quantum computing to produce new value for industrial customers serving their many businesses.

"We are excited to have the opportunity of technology collaboration with Classiq," said Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation president and CEO Shunsuke Okada.

"We will create new value through quantum transformation – QX – together by combining Classiq's platform and Toshiba Group's quantum technology, AI and IT knowledge cultivated over many years."
